The Auto Hobby Facility at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom is seeking qualified personnel for a 40-hour-per-week NAF position. The role requires shift work including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Applicants must provide proof of eligibility by the closing date and will be categorized by preference and priority considerations.

Open to US citizens within the local commuting area or who can establish UK residency documentation. Dual US/UK citizens are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in the maintenance and repair of diesel and gasoline powered engines and automotive equipment.
• Knowledge of removing/replacing parts and basic electrical/hydraulics understanding.
• Familiarity with on-board diagnostics and standard test equipment.

• Maintain and repair diesel and gasoline engines and automotive equipment on base.
• Interpret parts manuals and manufacturer repair manuals to perform service tasks.
• Utilize basic automotive tools to diagnose and adjust components in vehicles.
