Palfinger UK is seeking an Auto Electrician / Vehicle Electrician for our Falkirk production facility. You will electrically integrate Palfinger lorry-loader cranes with commercial vehicle chassis, wiring from diagrams and ensuring safe, neat installations.

The role offers Monday–Friday hours, specialist training, and a strong UK engineering heritage. You will connect cranes, controls, and electrical equipment to diverse truck builders, performing checks and fault-finding to guarantee reliable

Qualifications

• A recognised electrical, auto-electrical, electrotechnical or relevant qualification.
• Demonstrable electrical installation or wiring experience in a similar or associated role.
• The ability to read and work accurately from electrical wiring diagrams.
• Good wiring, crimping and electrical connection skills.
• Practical understanding of electrical fault-finding.
• Ability to produce safe, neat and high-quality work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a production team to meet schedules.
• Experience with 24V commercial vehicle electrics or similar is useful but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Electrically connect Palfinger lorry-loader cranes with commercial vehicle chassis.
• Carry out wiring installations from diagrams and technical information.
• Route and secure wiring to a high standard and ensure reliable connections.
• Install crane controls, sensors and remote-control equipment as required.
• Perform electrical and functional checks on completed installations.
• Identify and rectify electrical faults during installation or testing.
