Job summary

Palfinger UK is looking for an Auto Electrician to join our Devizes facility on market-leading lorry-loader crane builds. You will electrically integrate cranes and equipment with truck chassis, reading diagrams and ensuring neat, safe wiring.

The role suits those with auto-electrical backgrounds who can work independently or as part of a production team. Typical hours are Monday to Friday with overtime; enjoy specialist training and clear career progression within a long-established UK

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical or auto-electrical qualification.
• Experience installing/wiring electrical systems in vehicles.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams.
• High-quality, neat, safe workmanship.
• Able to work independently and in a production team.

Responsibilities

• Connect lorry-loader cranes to vehicle chassis.
• Install wiring to diagrams and specs.
• Route and secure wiring to high standard.
• Install crane controls, sensors, cameras, lighting.
• Perform electrical checks on installations.
• Identify and rectify electrical faults.
• Collaborate with mechanical and hydraulics teams to complete builds.
• Work safely within production timescales.
