Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited in Droitwich is seeking an Auto Electrician to install, test and fault-find electrical systems on new recovery vehicles. You will build wiring looms, junction boxes and other electrical components, and support hydraulic and mechanical fitting when required.

Applicants should have automotive electrical experience, ideally on commercial vehicles, trucks or related plant machinery, with at least 3 years in automotive electrics.

Qualifications

• Background in automotive electrical work.
• Experience with commercial vehicles, trucks or related plant machinery is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire electrical systems on new recovery vehicles.
• Carry out electrical fitting, testing, commissioning, and fault finding.
• Build and assemble wiring looms, junction boxes, and ancillary electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on used vehicles.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Support hydraulic and mechanical fitting activities where required.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and safety at all times.
• Work closely with the assembly team to meet production deadlines.
