Job summary

Totally Recruitment Group Ltd is recruiting an Auto Electrician to join the Final Assembly team in Droitwich. The role involves installing, testing and fault-finding electrical systems on new recovery vehicles built on light and heavy chassis.

You will work in a busy workshop with an experienced team, delivering high-quality specialist vehicles on time. The ideal candidate has a time-served background in automotive electrics, with 3+ years’ experience, strong fault-finding skills, and excellent

Qualifications

• Time-served background in automotive electrical work.
• Experience in automotive or commercial vehicles, construction plant, truck bodywork or forklift trucks.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent organisation, planning and time management.

Responsibilities

• Installing electrical systems on new recovery vehicles built on light and heavy trucks.
• Carrying out electrical fitting, testing and fault-finding activities.
• Making up and installing wiring looms, junction boxes and ancillary equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on used vehicles.
• Assisting with hydraulic and mechanical fitting when required.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.
• Working effectively with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
