Cambridge Car Audio & CBS Automotive is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Vehicle Customisation Installer or Auto Electrician to join our team. You will work on premium vehicles from Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and other leading manufacturers, delivering bespoke upgrades with a strong focus on quality, precision and finish. This is not a volume-based role. It is an opportunity for someone who takes genuine pride in their workmanship and wants to contribute to some of the highest-quality vehicle builds in the UK.
We are a specialist vehicle customisation company operating from an 11,000 sq ft state-of-the-art workshop and showroom near Cambridge. With more than 590 Google reviews and a rating of 4.9/5, we have built a strong reputation for clean, OEM-quality and bespoke installations. Our clients travel to us from across the UK and internationally. Our services include high-end audio systems, sound deadening, bespoke fabrication, auto electrical work, vehicle security, dash cameras, tracking systems, body styling, PPF, detailing, wrapping, window tinting, commercial vehicle lighting and towbars. Training can be provided across selected services for the right candidate.
Projects may include complete Porsche sound-system upgrades, Ferrari audio integration, custom BMW boot builds, full vehicle soundproofing, interior rebuilds and complex DSP system installation and tuning. Your main responsibilities will include:

The salary is £29,000–£45,000 per year depending on experience and capability, with paid overtime available.
