Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking an enthusiastic Autism Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Ferryhill, Durham. You will support pupils with Autism and SEND needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning while building confidence inside and outside the classroom.

This role offers rewarding, varied days and ongoing professional development through CPD training and courses, with long-term placement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is welcomed but not essential.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups.

You'll support pupils with Autism and additional SEND needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning while building confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
