Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking an Autism Teaching Assistant for a specialised school in Ferryhill, Durham, starting September. You will support children with autism and additional needs, helping them access education through personalised support, structure and encouragement.

Join a team of SEND professionals, with ongoing training, safeguarding checks, and a commitment to positive learning experiences. Prior experience is welcomed; full training and DBS checks are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in SEND or support roles is welcomed and training is provided.
• All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced DBS check and safeguarding checks.

Protocol Education is recruiting a compassionate Autism Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Ferryhill, Durham. You'll support children with Autism and additional needs, helping them access education through personalised support, structure and encouragement.

Working alongside experienced SEND professionals, you'll play an essential role in creating positive learning experiences every day.
