Job summary

Purple DPSS is seeking a dedicated Support Worker/Personal Assistant to support a 5-year-old boy in Meldreth during school holidays. The role focuses on enabling activities, play, and safe, positive development in a fun environment. The candidate will be DBS-checked, have Right to Work and references, and be able to facilitate community outings and active pursuits.

Hours are flexible with a pay rate of £13.00 per hour. Location is Meldreth, SG8, with on-site working pattern and permanent status.

Responsibilities

• Support and engage with the child during activities, play and outings.
• Help with school holiday activities, sports, swimming and arts.
• Read stories, support crafts, painting and drawing to boost communication.
• Encourage social interaction with other children and families.
• Provide a caring, safe and positive environment.
