Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking an Autism Support Worker to join a specialist SEND school in the Dawsbury area, delivering 1:1 support to a learner with autism and helping them with their daily in-school routines.

You will contribute to creating a structured, positive learning environment and be part of a supportive team. Personal care assistance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of working with Autism.
• Adaptable and proactive, able to deal with challenging behaviour effectively.
• Genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

The Role

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Autism Support Worker to work in a specialist SEND school in and around Dawsbury This will be a 1:1 role working with a specific young learner who will need support and encouragement fulfilling their daily routine in school. Autism Support Workers play an important role in helping to create structure and a positive experience in the students’ academic learning therefore we are looking for a committed, hardworking individual to join the team. This is a role that will require assistance with personal care needs.
