Job summary

Vision for Education are recruiting an Autism Support Assistant to work in a primary SEND school in Northumberland. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, with the potential for a permanent contract. ASAP or October start options are available.

The role involves supporting pupils with autism and other SEND needs, contributing to their learning and development. The successful candidate will join a committed team and benefit from Vision for Education's extensive network and ongoing

The School and Role

Vision for Education are recruiting for an Autism Support Assistant to work in a primary-aged SEND school in Northumberland. This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday), starting as soon as possible, with the potential to lead to a permanent contract.

Requirements

To be considered for the Autism Support Assistant position, the school have asked for:

• Someone who has worked with children, young people or vulnerable adults in any capacity
• Someone who may have experience with supporting people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• Someone with great patience, drive and determination
• Someone looking to extend and expand their skillset
