Job summary

Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant in Cheddar to support pupils with autism. You will work 1:1 or in small groups, helping with learning activities and daily routines while encouraging communication and positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with autism (professional or personal).
• Ability to stay calm, patient, and nurturing.
• Willingness to adapt to individual needs and structured routines.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with autism 1:1 or in small groups.
• Help pupils engage with learning activities and daily routines.
• Encourage communication, independence, and positive behaviour.
• Work closely with teachers and other staff.
