Job summary

Bolster Community, Unit 1 Whitegates Enterprise Park, Killeavy Road, Newry, BT35 6UA, is seeking a dedicated coordinator to design, develop and deliver responsive programmes and person-centred supports for autistic adults. The role involves one-to-one mentoring, group facilitation, and community engagement with flexible hours (evenings 1–2 times per week) and occasional weekends.

Fixed-term contract until July 2029, salary £27,924 FTE pro-rata to £22,339.20 for 30 hours per week; benefits

Qualifications

• Knowledge of autism and neurodiversity; person-centred, strengths-based approaches.
• Ability to identify needs and signpost to services.
• Experience supporting autistic adults through one-to-one and group-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver programmes, workshops and interventions.
• Provide one-to-one mentoring and emotional support to autistic adults.
• Plan and facilitate group sessions and peer support.
• Engage with community partners and promote autism inclusion.
• Maintain confidential records and support monitoring and GDPR compliance.
