Vision for Education are recruiting an Autism Support Assistant to work in a primary SEND school in Ripon. This full-time, temporary role is to support children with autism and to work Monday to Friday, with potential progression to permanent contract.

You will join a dedicated team, supporting teaching staff, delivering focused assistance to pupils with SEND, and contributing to safeguarding and development opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or vulnerable individuals in any setting.
• Experience with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEN) is desirable.
• Excellent patience, drive and determination.
• Willingness to extend and expand skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children with autism in a primary SEND environment.

Autism Support Assistant Ripon

Pay: £14.24 – £15 per hour (depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Vision for Education are recruiting for an Autism Support Assistant to work in a primary-aged SEND school in Ripon. This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday), starting as soon as possible, with the potential to lead to a permanent contract. We also have positions available for a September start as well, so whether you are available now or planning ahead for the new academic year, we would like to hear from you.

Requirements:

• Someone who has worked with children, young people or vulnerable adults in any capacity
• Someone who may have experience with supporting people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• Someone with great patience, drive and determination
• Someone looking to extend and expand their skillset
