Vision for Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join Ash Trees Academy in Billingham. No previous SEND or school experience is required as full training and ongoing support are provided.

You will work with experienced teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, develop independence and feel safe and included throughout the school day. This is an excellent entry path into education and SEND with opportunities to develop within the Trust.

Are you passionate about helping children and young people reach their potential? Vision for Education is recruiting caring and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join Ash Trees Academy in Billingham, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

Vision for Education is the Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the Trust, giving us access to opportunities across their schools.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career in education and SEND. Previous experience working in a school or SEND setting is not required. We are looking for people with the right attitude, patience and enthusiasm who are willing to learn and develop.

You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, develop their independence and feel safe, supported and included throughout the school day.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

• Supporting pupils in lessons and around the school

No previous experience is required. Experience of working with children, young people, SEND or vulnerable adults would be beneficial, but is not essential.
