Job summary

Worcestershire County Council is seeking two full-time Specialist Practitioners to join the Specialist Teaching Service within Autism/CCN. Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with special needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Neuro-affirming ethos and curiosity about underlying needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver evidence-based programmes and interventions to support autistic children and their families.
• Undertake direct 1:1 and small group work and train school staff to become Worcestershire Autism Mentors.
• Support the Autism/CCN Team with training delivery (face to face and online) across Worcestershire.
