Job summary

Redwood, a specialist provision within Tudor Grange Academies Trust, seeks a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students with Autism Spectrum Condition. You will work with the Lead Teacher of SEN to promote engagement, independence and achievement in a structured, nurturing environment.

You will contribute to individual education plans, develop positive relationships with students and families, and support learning activities across the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND/ASC.
• Ability to implement individual education plans and personalised learning.
• Strong communication with students, families and colleagues.
• Ability to promote independence, inclusion and achievement.

Responsibilities

• Support students with ASC to engage, learn and participate in activities.
• Assist in planning and delivering learning activities under supervision.
• Prepare resources and adapt materials for individual needs and learning styles.
• Monitor progress and give feedback to teachers and families.
