Job summary

Achieving for Children Community Interest Company in the UK seeks a qualified teacher to support school staff in working with pupils with social communication needs or autism in mainstream schools.

You will collaborate with school staff to provide advice, strategies, and interventions, contribute to EHCP reviews and termly/annual reviews, and help plan and deliver training to boost staff knowledge of autism.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience building partnerships across diverse stakeholders, including children and families.
• Degree-level education with a professional qualification in education.
• Postgraduate qualification in SEND or leadership and management.
• Strong organisational abilities including time management and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, strategies, and interventions to school staff.
• Collaborate with schools to address learning, social, and communication needs.
• Contribute to planning and delivery of autism training sessions.
