Pharmacyupdate is recruiting a dedicated School Support Worker in Bletchley to support children and young people with autism and SEMH within a specialist educational setting. This temporary, full-time role offers £16 per hour and immediate start, with potential for ongoing work.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in support work, residential care, youth work, mental health, education or similar is desirable.
• Calm, resilient and proactive approach when dealing with challenging situations.

Aufgaben

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to children and young people with autism and SEMH needs.
• Help pupils manage their emotions, regulate their behaviour and navigate challenging situations.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with learners who may struggle with engagement or emotional regulation.
• Use consistent approaches to behaviour support, following individual plans and guidance.
