Scottish Autism is hiring Autism Practitioners for Auchterarder (PH3 1D). Roles involve supporting an individual in their own home with a low arousal, trauma-informed approach. Shifts include days, evenings and sleepovers; sleepover pay is included. Training and benefits are provided to help you grow in the role.

Starting pay is £14.46 per hour, rising to £14.68, with progression to £15.16 at your own pace. Access to a comprehensive benefits package is included.

Join our team at Appletree Housing Support 2:1 Service, near Auchterarder (PH3 1D), where you'll support an individual in their own home to enjoy the things that matter most to them. As an Autism Practitioner, you'll get to know the person, build positive relationships with their family and key stakeholders, and help shape personalised support that promotes choice, independence and wellbeing. Using a low arousal approach, you'll provide tailored support that reflects all aspects of the person's life, including their autism and PMLD.

Appletree Community is a close-knit, rural environment which supports the low arousal approach you'll adopt. With excellent indoor and outdoor space, the supported person enjoys time with their team and as part of their local community by participating in a range of activities.
