Autism Practitioner
Location: Bromley, Greater London
Salary: £14.00 P/h to £16.00 P/h £23,500 per annum
Contract Type: Long Term Supply / Permanent, Term-Time Only
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

About the Role
As an Autism Practitioner, you will play a vital role in helping students with Autism Spectrum Conditions thrive-both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with teachers and therapists, you'll support personalised learning and help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support in class
• Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
• Supporting the implementation of individual plans (e.g., IEPs, behaviour or risk assessments)
• Promoting independence and positive behaviour
• Helping maintain a well-resourced, inclusive learning space
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is not only skilled but also genuinely compassionate and committed to supporting neurodiverse learners.
Essential:
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
