Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Macclesfield is inviting applications for an Outreach and Support Worker in our Adult Autism Service, based at Beech House. This part-time role is 22.5 hours across three days, supporting adults on the autism spectrum or awaiting assessment, and working with autism hubs and third-sector partners.

Under supervision of qualified practitioners, you will provide follow-up support to bespoke interventions and share information, advice and training

Responsabilidades

• Work under the direction of qualified practitioners providing follow-up support to bespoke interventions.
• Provide basic information, advice, guidance and training to other health professionals supporting autistic adults.
• Work to reduce the barriers faced by autistic adults when accessing mainstream services and encourage the knowledge base and skill set of other commissioned services in providing reasonable adjustments in line with the Equality Act.
• You will work with colleagues, including lived experience advisors, to develop and maintain resources for autistic adults and adults referred for an assessment as well as health and social care staff.
