Job summary

Autism Initiatives in Bootle, Liverpool is seeking a Part Time Autism Inclusion Practitioner to support autistic children and young people in home, community and school settings.

The OSSME role requires travel across the region, so you must have your own vehicle and a full clean driving licence. A DBS check is required and the cost will be covered by Autism Initiatives. The post is term-time only, up to 21 hours per week, paid at £17.84 per hour.

Qualifications

• Autism knowledge and understanding of ASC needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capacity to travel across the region using own vehicle.
• Awareness of National Curriculum is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASC support to autistic children and young people in home, community and education settings.
• Support families and professionals with ASC strategies and information.
