The Kent Autistic Trust is seeking caring Support Workers to join Woodville Day Service in Canterbury. You will support autistic adults to lead active, fulfilling lives with a Monday to Friday pattern and no evenings or weekends.

Woodville serves 15 individuals with dedicated spaces and a welcoming atmosphere where activities like swimming, cinema trips, coastal visits, and social events are common. Training and DBS checks are provided.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence required.
• Right to work in UK, no visa sponsorship.
• Experience supporting autistic adults or similar is a plus.
• Clear, calm communication style to meet diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Support autistic adults to participate in activities and develop independence.
• Provide person-centred support in a day service setting.
• Monitor wellbeing and respond to emotional distress or challenging behaviours.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for individuals and staff.
