Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a Direct Payments Support Worker to assist a male client in Withernsea. The role involves enabling access to community activities, providing companionship, and offering emotional support.

Hours are 10 per week, with day and times to be confirmed at interview; some weekday and weekend support will be required. The candidate must have their own car with business insurance.

Qualifications

• Be patient, caring and understanding.
• Have good communications skills.
• Be able to build a positive relationship with him to both encourage and support him.
• Have previous experience caring for an individual with additional needs.
• Must have use of own car to transport him to social activities and appointments. Business insurance is required.
