Job summary

BeyondAutism seeks a Class Lead to guide a designated class of autistic learners, supported by education, therapy and behaviour teams.

You will lead and coordinate the class, ensuring fidelity of programmes, safeguarding, and high-quality learner progress, while line-managing TLPs, Teachers, Therapists and Assistants. You will promote a learner-centred environment and work with EHCPs to enable meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership of a class team and day-to-day running
• Ability to deliver education, behaviour support and therapy programmes with fidelity
• Experience safeguarding and promoting learner welfare
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and documenting progress

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day organisation and teaching week
• Ensure curricular delivery, learner progress and accurate reporting
• Maintain safeguarding culture and safe working practices
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Person for the class
• Provide leadership and line management to teaching and therapy staff
• Collaborate across education, therapy and behaviour support teams
