Job summary

BeyondAutism invites applications for a Class Lead to manage the day-to-day running of an allocated class for autistic learners. The role focuses on safe, high-quality support and meaningful progress within a collaborative learning environment.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, ensure fidelity of education, behaviour support and therapy programmes, and advocate safeguarding while maintaining accurate records and learner-centred practice.

Qualifications

• Experience leading educational teams in autism or special education.
• Strong safeguarding and safeguarding culture.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day organisation and operational running of the class.
• Ensure educational, behaviour analytic and therapeutic programmes are delivered with fidelity.
• Escalate barriers to learner progress and safeguarding concerns.
• Provide line management to Teaching and Learning Practitioners and Therapists.
• Monitor attendance and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate across education, therapy and behaviour support teams to support learners.
