Provide one-to-one support to a young child with autism and a learning disability in the family home and local community.
Engage in play and sensory-based activities matching the child's interests.
Prepare simple snacks, drinks and meals as required.
Support with personal care, including changing, dressing, and hand washing.
Accompany the child on local outings and community activities.
Assist with mobility buggy use and safe travel.
Ensure the child's safety and wellbeing at all times.
Support communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs.
Work with parents to maintain consistent routines.
Encourage independence and participation in meaningful activities.
