Job summary

The Cambian Group is seeking a leader to develop and oversee a trauma-informed behaviour and regulation strategy for pupils at a specialist school in the UK. You will own the behaviour framework, quality assure plans, and drive whole-school improvement using data insights and coaching to build staff capacity.

The role focuses on training delivery, reflective practice, and clear communication with stakeholders to ensure plans are personalised for non-speaking and pre-verbal learners.

Qualifications

• Autism-aware approach and trauma-informed practice.
• Ability to lead a school-wide behaviour framework and safeguard processes.
• Experience in coaching staff and delivering targeted training.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the school’s behaviour and regulation framework.
• Lead training, refreshers and targeted coaching to ensure high fidelity to agreed practice.
• Ensure post-incident documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
• Facilitate reflective debriefs with staff to strengthen practice and wellbeing.
• Communicate progress and adjustments of behaviour strategies to stakeholders.
