Job summary

Experts Group International is seeking Wind Turbine Technicians to support service and maintenance across Scotland, with a focus on the Central Belt. You will work in two-person teams performing planned and reactive maintenance on Vestas V47 and V52 turbines, diagnosing faults and ensuring safe operations.

Applicants should have strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, a valid GWO certificate, a full UK driving licence, and be prepared to travel between wind farms with

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills must be demonstrated.
• Experience carrying out planned servicing, preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on wind turbines.
• GWO training/certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and preventative servicing and maintenance on Vestas V47 and V52 wind turbines.
• Perform reactive maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve turbine issues.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, ensuring safe and effective repairs.
• Undertake component repairs and replacements to maintain turbine performance.
• Support breakdown response and corrective maintenance across multiple sites.
• Ensure all maintenance is carried out safely in line with site procedures and HSE requirements.
• Complete accurate service reports and relevant documentation.
• Work independently and as part of a two-person team.
• Travel between wind farm sites across Scotland, including the Central Belt.
• For Authorised Technician positions, undertake authorised switching within level of authorisation.
