Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking an Authorised Persons Coordinator at Portsmouth Naval Base with occasional travel to customer sites. Permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary plus benefits. You will oversee Confined Space Authorised Person activities, ensuring works are performed safely, compliantly and in line with JSP375 and SWPs.

You will provide guidance to AP teams, support audits, manage qualifications, and drive continuous improvement in safety across marine defence contracts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Confined Space Authorised Person qualification.
• Understanding of confined space operations, permit to work and safe systems of work.
• Willing to undertake IOSH Health & Safety training.
• Strong knowledge of confined space legislation and safety procedures.
• Experience or awareness of MOD establishments and JSP375 requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SC Security Clearance.
• Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, detail oriented and committed to safety and compliance.

Are you a qualified Confined Space Authorised Person looking for your next challenge?
Marlin Environmental Services is seeking an Authorised Persons Coordinator to oversee and coordinate AP activities across our marine defence sector contracts.

Working closely with operational teams, customers and SHEQ, you will ensure confined space works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with legislation, JSP375 requirements, customer procedures and established Safe Systems of Work.
You will also support audits, promote continuous improvement and help maintain the highest standards of compliance across all AP activities.

• Coordinate and oversee Confined Space Authorised Person activities across marine defence sector contracts

Qualifications

About you:

• Must hold a current Confined Space Authorised Person qualification
• Have a full understanding of confined space operations, permit to work systems and safe systems of work
• Be willing to undertake and successfully complete IOSH accredited Health & Safety training
• Possess a strong understanding of confined space legislation, processes and associated safety procedures
• Have awarenessof or have experience working within MOD establishments and JSP375 requirements
• Be able to obtain and maintain SC Security Clearance
• Have excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Be proactive, detail oriented and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance
