Job summary

Barber McLelland Ltd in Doncaster partners with a leading accountancy firm to appoint an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior Accountant. The role covers assisting on onsite audits, preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies, and handling personal and corporate tax computations.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in accounting and be AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in the accountancy profession.
• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified; applications from those not pursuing formal qualifications considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client auditing as part of an onsite audit team.
• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare personal and corporate tax computations.
• Handle client bookkeeping and management accounts.
