Job Title: Auditor - Legal & Regulatory and Exam Management

Location: Birmingham

Corporate Title: Associate

You will be part of the Group Audit Chief Administration Office (CAO) Legal & Regulatory and Exam Management team, reporting to the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) based in Frankfurt, Germany, and to the Chief Audit (CA) with global responsibility.

The CAO Legal and Regulatory and Exam Management team is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within Group Audit Deutsche Bank. Our mandate covers Group Legal, Governance, Regulatory, Exam Management, and Control Testing & Assurance.

Your key responsibilities:

• Conduct operational audit work, including risk assessments and business monitoring
• Document process flows, identify risks, and evaluate controls
• Perform audit fieldwork, testing controls, and documenting in line with standards
• Collaborate with other teams for an integrated approach
• Complete audit work within budget
• Maintain open communication within the global audit team

Your skills and experience:

• Project management and communication skills
• Self-motivated, innovative, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Banking industry audit experience and understanding of risks/regulations
• Analytical skills and ability to work in virtual, global teams
• Professional qualifications like IIA or legal qualifications are desirable
• Strong communication skills; German language skills are a plus
