Job summary

Saffery Champness in London invites applications for a School Leaver Audit Trainee (ACA) starting January 2027. You will begin your ACA journey with six-week simulation and structured development, combining study with on-the-job learning.

No prior experience required; AAT considered for exemptions and Kaplan-supported training. The four-year training contract offers mentoring, tuition support, and exposure to diverse audit engagements within our Film, TV, and other sectors.

Qualifications

• 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels or Highers (or equivalent).
• GCSE Maths and English at least Grade 6/B (or equivalent).
• AAT qualifications acceptable; if completed up to Level 4, exemptions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Take part in all stages of an audit from planning to completion.
• Support audit engagements for clients across industries by testing information and reviewing controls.
• Prepare clear, structured audit documentation and working papers.
• Work with client financial data using various accounting systems and audit tools.
• Assist with planning and fieldwork on client sites or in the office.
• Build strong relationships with clients to understand their business.
