Job summary

Morgan McKinley in London is seeking a Technical & Training Manager to join the audit practice. You will work with the Audit leadership to drive technical excellence, support engagement teams and turn regulatory developments into practical guidance and training.

The role covers technical guidance, CPD programs, external reviews, and integration of newly acquired offices, with a focus on improving audit quality, consistency and efficiency across the firm.

Qualifications

• Significant audit experience across SME and complex groups.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and ISA.
• Passion for training, coaching and professional development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to translate regulatory developments into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical support across the London audit practice.
• Develop and deliver CPD training and technical guidance.
• Coordinate external and internal quality initiatives.
• Support with integration of newly acquired London offices.
• Lead initiatives to improve audit quality and efficiency.
• Advise on financial reporting, narrative reporting and ethics.
