Moore Kingston Smith is seeking an Audit Supervisor in the Isle of Wight to lead audits from planning through completion for owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporate clients. The role offers progression, a supportive team environment and exposure to a varied client portfolio.

You will mentor junior staff, manage budgets, and ensure delivery under UK accounting standards while building strong client relationships and supporting partners and directors.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience leading audits for owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporate clients.
• Not-for-profit experience not essential.
• Strong experience delivering substantive and controls-based audits.
• Good knowledge of UK accounting standards and FRF.
• Experience with Caseware, CCH Accounts Production, Xero, QuickBooks and Alphatax, Office 365 desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead audits from planning through to completion, including fieldwork, review and finalisation.
• Manage budgets and deadlines for audit engagements.
• Prepare and review financial statements under FRS 102 and other UK standards.
• Deliver a complete audit file for manager review.
• Supervise on-site audit teams and mentor junior staff.
• Identify and discuss recommendations with clients and promote firm services.
