Job summary
TC Group in the UK is seeking an ambitious Audit Supervisor/Manager to lead audits for SME clients from planning through to completion. Based in our Letchworth office, you will manage junior staff, budgets, and client relationships, delivering high-quality, value-adding audits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- Experience in UK audit for a practice is essential.
- Auditing SME clients experience is preferred.
- Qualified ACA/ACCA with strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISAs.
- Ability to develop trainees and junior staff with feedback and coaching.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead or manage the audit process from planning to completion for SME clients.
- Budget preparation and oversight for audits.
- Develop and coach junior staff and trainees.
- Build client relationships and manage expectations.
- Communicate progress with Partners and deliver added value services.
- Mentor trainees and seniors within the team.

- take a lead on or manage the audit process from planning through to completion and review the work of more junior colleagues to deliver high quality audits to our clients in the SME sector
- prepare a job to meaningful and realistic budgets
- assist in the development of others, particularly trainees through providing thoughtful feedback on jobs, offering coaching and support as necessary
- build relationships with the clients so that you are the "go-to" person and manage their expectations, their audit, and our team to deliver robust, high-quality audits.
- effectively manage Partner expectations, communicating regularly on progress of jobs
- identifying and delivering added value services to the clients to help them prosper
- be a role model and mentor to trainees and Senior's within the team
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- previous experience of working in audit for a UK practice is essential
- experience of auditing SME clients
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- good technical knowledge, eg UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISA's
- enjoy working as part of a team and developing effective, long-lasting working relationships at all levels
- tech-savvy, proficient in all Microsoft packages, knowledge of CCH would be great alongside Digita Cotax, Inflo, SAP, Xero, Sage & Quickbooks and social media channels
- a pro-active approach to tasks whether they are big or small
- motivated by a fast-paced environment
- excited to immerse yourself in our culture and business.
- excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- must have own car and full driving licence.
