About The Firm

Simpson Judge are supporting a Top 50 UK firm with an opening they have for an Audit Manager.

This team is growing in response to an expanding and more demanding client base, and this is an excellent opportunity to join this friendly, vibrant, and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead audit engagements under the direction of a Manager/Principal.
Oversee and coordinate on-site audit teams during fieldwork.
Manage audit planning, execute completion procedures, and draft management letters.
Support the supervision and on-the-job training of junior team members, as needed.
Assist Audit Managers with delegated tasks, including planning, completion, and file reviews.
Primarily mid-sized corporates and Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs).
Engagements with larger corporate groups, including those with international subsidiaries.
UK-based subsidiaries of overseas parent companies.
Specialist audits covering Pension Schemes, Charities and Not-for-Profit Organisations, Solicitors, and entities regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

About you

ACA or ACCA qualified.
A minimum of two years' audit experience within a UK accountancy firm.
Proficient in IT, with experience using accounting and audit software.
Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Capable of managing priorities and performing effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Right to Work in the UK required.
Hybrid working (up to 2 days working from home)
Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme with automatic enrolment (subject to eligibility): Employer contribution of 5% and Employee contribution of 3%.
Private Medical Insurance available after three months of service (taxable benefit).
Death in Service cover providing a benefit of four times your annual salary.
Group Income Protection Scheme (non-contributory), available after three months of service.
25 days of annual leave per year (pro rata), with three days typically allocated to the Christmas/New Year period.
