Learning and Development (L&D) is a key enabler of our strategy as an Audit Stream and critical to our success. Effective L&D underpins quality and productivity by developing our people's knowledge and skills, helping them reach their potential.

Effective L&D requires specialist resources to partner with the Audit Stream, identify training needs, and respond appropriately. It involves careful planning, project management, a critical-thinking and commercial mindset, and understanding regulatory requirements. It also considers the latest innovations, tools, and technology to support tailored, relevant, and timely development.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, high-performing, and ambitious manager to join the Audit Stream L&D team during a period of embedding our new Faculty strategy. Alongside our existing Faculty Manager, this role will implement and maintain the Faculty strategy and wider offering, supporting effective learning. The Faculty Managers will also facilitate key programmes and support ongoing delivery.

This role is within the Learning Implementation team, reporting to the Business Partnering and Implementation Lead. The team aims to provide the best learning experience, managing programme delivery, risks, finances, and the Faculty proposition.

The Faculty supports programme delivery through facilitators. The Faculty Managers oversee daily operations, onboarding, development, and evaluation of Faculty members, and support wider programme delivery and project management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and maintaining the Faculty strategy to meet business needs and manage delivery risks
  • Coordinating the Faculty to achieve business outcomes
  • Evaluating Faculty effectiveness and reporting to leadership
  • Supporting programme delivery with project management and facilitation
  • Stakeholder management with People Partners and others
  • Monitoring Faculty utilization and performance, managing risks
  • Managing the Faculty project plan
  • Developing Faculty members' skills for successful programme delivery
  • Acting as a facilitator on key programmes
  • Collaborating with wider L&D to ensure sufficient facilitation support
  • Supporting project management of programmes
  • Introducing innovation to enhance learner experience
  • Driving process standardization and efficiency improvements

Required skills and experience:

  • Manager (or equivalent) with an interest/passion for L&D
  • Formal L&D qualifications are advantageous but not essential
  • Delivery experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Interest in developing self and others through high-quality learning
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Relationship-building skills with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of business strategy and goals
  • Focus on operational excellence and quality
