Audit Stream Learning & Development - Business Partnering Manager for Projects

The Business Partnering (BP) team plays a vital role within L&D, partnering with the Audit Stream to identify learning needs and develop appropriate responses. They work alongside the business to drive the Learning and Development agenda and coordinate with support teams on related activities.

The BP team acts as the business voice within L&D, providing oversight and challenge internally while representing L&D to the business within the Audit Stream.

The Business Partnering Manager for Projects will collaborate directly with stakeholders to identify needs outside our Early in Careers and Post-qualified curricula, focusing on project-based activities requiring coordination across curricula and engagement programs.

Using their understanding of business priorities, they will align activities across L&D offerings, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure responses meet ongoing needs. They will work with other BP team members to coordinate learning needs analysis and share best practices.

They will work with the Learning Development team to ensure learning objectives align with business goals, oversee the design and delivery of learning interventions, and support program implementation and review of effectiveness. They may also facilitate onsite program delivery as needed.

In this role, you will:

1. Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of tailored learning solutions addressing business needs.
2. Advocate for business needs within L&D, ensuring responses support organizational goals.
3. Act as a subject matter expert, advising business leaders on L&D issues.
4. Report progress against plans to stakeholders.
5. Provide objective challenge and act as a sounding board for learning needs and responses.
6. Promote L&D activities to foster an effective learning culture.
7. Support the delivery of the Audit L&D curriculum.
8. Build strategic relationships within the Audit Stream and wider business to align L&D initiatives.
9. Coordinate learning needs analysis and curriculum development with stakeholders.
10. Assist with onsite program delivery and facilitation.
11. Bring innovative thinking to develop leading professional development initiatives.
12. Champion change, leading by example and seeking support when necessary.

Required skills and experience

• Experienced Manager or equivalent
• Strong understanding of Audit and the regulatory environment
• Previous L&D experience preferred
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders
• Proven stakeholder influence and strategic project management skills
• Experience in facilitation is beneficial
• Solution-focused problem-solving skills
• Collaborative teamworking, coaching, and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
