The role suits someone who is part-qualified or actively studying towards AAT or an equivalent qualification, with prior audit or accounting exposure or a strong desire to grow in the profession.

Qualifications

• AAT or equivalent qualification underway or equivalent studies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of audit engagements.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on client accounts.
• Analyse financial information and identify discrepancies or areas for further investigation.
• Prepare audit working papers, documentation and reports for review.
• Support identification of risks and recommendations for improvements.
• Act as a point of contact for client queries throughout audit assignments.
• Build professional relationships with clients and assist with explaining audit findings.
