Job summary

ACCA Careers in the UK seeks an Audit Semi-Senior to join a leading accountancy and advisory firm in Nottingham. You will gain exposure to a broad range of audit assignments across diverse industries, working alongside experienced Audit Managers and Directors within a growing national practice.

You will plan, execute and complete external audits, prepare working papers and statutory accounts under UK GAAP, and develop your technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, execution and completion of external audit assignments.
• Support Audit Seniors and Managers throughout the audit process.
• Conduct audit fieldwork for a varied client portfolio across sectors.
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation to a high professional standard.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP.
• Identify and investigate audit risks and key areas of concern.
• Liaise with clients regarding audit queries and information requests.
• Support completion of audit files and clearance of review points.
