LGBT Jobs in London Gatwick Airport is seeking an Audit Senior (Qualified/Part-Qualified) to join our Gatwick Audit & Assurance team. The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification and 18-24 months of audit experience, with responsibility for supervising and coaching junior staff.

This full-time position offers working on site at LGW, with opportunities to work remotely where appropriate, and a supportive environment that values diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified or progressing towards ACA/ACCA with the professional/applied skills stage completed.
• 18–24 months’ Audit and Assurance experience in an accountancy practice, including leading external audit assignments from fieldwork to completion under ISA.
• Experience preparing accounts under UK GAAP; proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication with senior staff and clients.
• Knowledge of Caseware or Inflo software and Mercia audit methodologies is a bonus but not essential. UK work eligibility without restrictions.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will join our growing Audit Team in Gatwick. Reporting directly to an audit Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the progress of audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will also be reviewing the work of junior colleagues as well as coaching and supporting them in their development. Our audit engagements may take place remotely or on client sites, so you will utilise a range of technological solutions in addition to your people skills to deliver a quality service, on time and on budget, working in collaboration with the wider audit team to delight our clients.

Skills/Knowledge/Expertise:

Are you ACA qualified or progressing towards your ACA/ACCA qualification with the professional/applied skills stage completed?

We’re looking for a driven professional with at least 18-24 months’ experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice, including leading external audit assignments from fieldwork to completion under International Standards on Auditing.

You should have experience preparing accounts under UK GAAP, be confident using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and possess strong communication skills for working with senior staff and clients.

Knowledge of Caseware or Inflo software and Mercia audit methodologies is a bonus but not essential. Candidates must have UK work eligibility without restrictions.
