Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking an Audit Senior to join an independent chartered accountancy and business advisory firm, providing accountancy, audit, tax, corporate finance and payroll services to businesses and individuals. As an Audit Senior, you will lead and support audit assignments while developing your experience across accounts, taxation and wider advisory work.

This role offers a salary range of £40,000 - £42,000 negotiable for the right candidate and benefits, and eligibility to work

Qualifications

• Strong practical audit experience.
• Qualified audit professional.
• 1-2 years post-qualification experience (nice to have).
• Sound understanding of accounting and tax requirements.
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Managing audit assignments for a varied portfolio of SME clients.
• Reviewing financial statements and checking compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Working on group audits, including consolidated financial statements.
• Preparing financial statements, including group accounts.
• Producing tax computations in line with applicable tax requirements.
• Working alongside senior team members to ensure accounts and audit work are completed accurately.
