Job summary

PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking an Audit Senior in Beaconsfield to lead audits from planning to completion and to supervise junior staff. You will act as the main client contact, assess risk, and ensure high-quality financial statements under UK standards.

The role requires UK GAAP knowledge, experience leading audits, and confidence in client communications; ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent is preferred, with IFRS exposure considered beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in an audit-focused role within an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
• Experience leading audits and managing workflow.
• Confident in dealing directly with clients.
• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, or qualified by experience.
• Exposure to group audits, IFRS or restructures is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Supervise and review the work of junior team members.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with UK standards.
• Assess risk and evaluate internal controls.
• Ensure audits are delivered efficiently, on time and to a high standard.
