Job summary

Xeinadin in Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our expanding team. You will lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with standards while building strong client relationships.

The role is office-based in Aylesbury, requires ACA/ACCA (part-qualified considered) and offers a competitive benefits package including pension, generous leave, life cover and supportive development.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification is required (part-qualified candidates will also be considered).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
• Previous experience in audit within a practice environment in the UK is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
• Dependable, professional, and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ensure audit files contain all necessary documentation, properly organised in the appropriate sections.
• Analyse accounting data from client records, providing insights and recommendations.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory, internal audit methodology, and risk management requirements.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and established clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
• Identify and understand client needs, offering tailored solutions and executing them effectively.
• Address client queries promptly and professionally, promoting loyalty and trust.
• Mentor and support junior team members, answering questions and ensuring high-quality work.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate and timely client files and audits.
• Deliver client work in adherence to legal and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review client documents, including accounts, tax filings, PAYE, and VAT submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for sign-off.
• Drive efficiency and quality by utilising best practices and leveraging available tools and technology.
