Saffery LLP in London’s Corporate Group is seeking a Qualified Senior to join the audit department in the Mid-Market and Not-for-Profit team. You’ll work across corporate and not-for-profit clients with a focus on delivering high-quality audit and advisory services.

The role involves leading audit engagements, planning, fieldwork, and liaising with clients’ finance teams, with opportunities to contribute to team direction and participate in client advisory projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in an audit and accounts practice.
• ACA or ACCA qualified with good pass rates.
• Ability to identify, research and resolve complex audit issues.
• Demonstrated experience of managing, training, and mentoring staff on projects.
• Technically strong with up-to-date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Passion for delivering quality to meet client needs.
• Ability to prioritise, define activities and plan work to meet deadlines.
• Organised and commercially minded with credibility with Partners and clients.

Responsabilités

• Project manage and drive forwards the audit and accounting process, including liaising directly with senior individuals in clients' finance teams.
• Get actively involved in every aspect of the audit process, taking ownership of planning, fieldwork, and the completion on audit engagements, working closely with managers and partners.
• Have the opportunity to get involved in the direction and overall running of the team.
• There may also be opportunities to work on ad hoc projects e.g. department or firm wide working groups and client advisory work.
