You will become a key part of a growing team that provides a wide range of audit, advisory, and accounting services to diverse clients, including landed estates, charities, owner-managed businesses, and FCA-regulated entities.

Our Audit Senior Associates:

  • Take ownership of planning, fieldwork, and completion of audit engagements, working closely with managers and partners.
  • Get involved in the direction and overall running of the team, with opportunities to work on ad hoc projects such as department or firmwide working groups and client advisory work.

Our Audit Senior Associates often manage a small portfolio of jobs, supporting career progression. With our growth plans, we offer a supportive environment with opportunities for further development.

We will also consider applications from candidates who are due to fully qualify in the coming months.

The Team

Our Edinburgh team offers tailored services, including accounting, audit and assurance, tax, corporate finance, and business advisory. We advise on personal and business affairs, wealth generation, preservation, and succession.

The Edinburgh office has 5 partners and over 60 staff. We recently moved to a modern, purpose-built space in Haymarket Square, within walking distance of the city center and accessible by bus, tram, and rail.

You

The successful candidate will lead audits, supervise and mentor junior staff, and liaise with tax staff, partners, and clients. The role offers a range of work for someone with solid audit experience seeking progression in a fast-growing office.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in managing, training, and evaluating staff.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive team player.

  • Eligibility for profit-sharing, paid in December.
  • Paid overtime or time off in lieu.
