Please note: Candidates without direct chartered practice experience will not be considered.

The Role
As an Audit Senior, you will report directly to the Head of Audit. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Audit Delivery
  
  • Plan, execute and finalise statutory audits for a diverse client base
    
  • Ensure audits remain cost-effective and minimise management s time commitment
    
• Financial Reporting
  
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102
    
• Client Liaison
  
  • Manage client relationships, deliverables, timelines and expectations
    
• Team Leadership
  
  • Supervise, mentor and review the workpapers and reports of junior audit staff
    
  • Identify process improvements and drive technical best practices
    
• Professional Progression
  
  • Work towards obtaining Responsible Individual (RI) status
    

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification audit experience within a chartered accountants/accountancy practice
  
• ACA, ACCA or equivalent fully-qualified or part-qualified status
  
• Proven track record of managing audits from planning to completion
  
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  
• Ambition to achieve RI status in due course
  
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  
• Residence within easy commuting distance of Stourbridge office
