Job summary

Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited is working with a well-established Swindon accountancy practice to recruit an Audit Senior to lead and assist with audit assignments from planning through to completion, across a varied client portfolio.

You will coach trainees, review work by junior team members, liaise with clients throughout the audit process and build strong long-term client relationships while developing your technical exposure.

Qualifications

• Audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• ACA/ACCA qualification or nearing qualification.
• Willingness to develop and mentor trainees.

Responsibilities

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Completing audit fieldwork and preparing files for review
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members
• Coaching and supporting trainees on assignments
• Liaising directly with clients throughout the audit process
• Identifying issues and discussing these with Managers and Partners
• Building strong, long‑term client relationships
• Getting involved in accounts work where appropriate

We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Swindon that's looking for an Audit Senior to join its growing team.

The Role

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates with previous audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.

You'll ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified or approaching qualification, although we're happy to consider different levels of experience.
